Are you passionate about... tech in general? This is the role for you! The hardware and generalist role is made for people who might not be code junkies, but still enjoy technology. This role is very broad in its responsibilities, but in general, it is most similar to a DevOps position, where you will be responsible for managing our servers, DNS records, password manager, any hardware for events, ect ect.
To give a better idea of who would be a fit, look to see if anything resonates:
You know what self hosting is and have hosted something, ever
You use/have used an operating system other than Microslop Windows or MacOS, ever
You have played with a camera and or livestream things
You are familiar with the terms: “community edition,” “open source”
Have built or helped build a computer.
You are disappointed in the lack of a Micro Center in Seattle, and begrudgingly shop at Best Buy
You have been to RePC, thought things were too expensive, but stayed anyway because it there was a lotta “cool e-waste :)”
“And now a segue into our sponsor”
Raid: Shadow Legends :(
NordVPN → but in all seriousness, you know what this does, the privacy implications, but also know when to use it
